Do you take reservations?
We do not take reservations and are first-come, first-served. For large parties over 20, please contact us.
What are your hours?
We’re open Sunday through Thursday from 11am-9 pm, and Fridays and Saturdays from 11am-11pm. We’re open on Memorial Day, Independence Day and Labor Day. Check our social media handles for updates on hours and special events.
Do you have vegan or gluten-free options?
Yes, we offer a variety of vegan and gluten free options, please ask your server for more details or suggestions.
How is the parking?
We have parking in our on-site lot. Additional parking is available in nearby lots and side streets. If you park across the bypass (S. Croatan), please be careful and use sidewalks and crosswalks! The nearest crosswalk is at the corner of W. 8th Street, a short 5 minute walk to our northwest.
Do you have live music?

Are you wheelchair-accessible?
Yes, our restaurant is wheelchair-accessible, and we offer wheelchair-accessible seating and restrooms.
Can I ride my bike to Shaka’s?
Sure thing! We plan to install a bike rack soon, but there’s plenty of fence for leaning and locking your bike to in the meantime.
Can I host an event at Shaka’s?

Do you have merchandise?
We offer a variety of hats, t-shirts, sweatshirts and more! Ask your server for more information.
Do you have TVs?
Oh yes! We have three 100-inch TVs in our main dining room, two smaller TVs for customers seated at our bar and two additional TVs for customers sitting at the end of our upstairs dining area.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes! We offer electronic gift cards (delivered via email or text) in denominations of $5 to $500. Click here to buy online!
Are pets allowed?
